Kate joined Threads in 2020 as Chief People Officer, temporarily taking on the broader COO remit in 2023. She is responsible for the Threads global people strategy and execution and company alignment behind the Threads North Star. Her background spans 15+ years in people and operations leadership positions across a broad range of sectors including retail, hospitality and tech. She oversees Order management and Logistics, and People experience including people support, talent, facilities and IT. Previously Group People and Operations Director at a global product design agency and has sat on a number of DE&I boards. An award winning practitioner, she holds over 15 awards for her work, most recently winning “HR’s most influential” in 2021. Her approach to talent development at Threads is to empower and champion new and ambitious talent to be able to accelerate their careers. Chartered CIPD and qualified SHRM-SCP, education includes 2 masters, in HR management and psychology, an EMBA from Warwick Business School, a postgrad in organisational psychology and qualified in level A&B psychometric testing.
